| Award ceremony | Will take place on the field after
the competition. Athletes should gather in the Call room ten minutes
before the Award ceremony. |
| Call room and
Calling | Calling takes place 30 minutes before the first
event: On both days the first calling is 9:00 am (M U20) in the Call
room (under the grandstand) and each competitor is asked to show up
no less than 15 min before the start of each event to know the line
assignment and for neccessary preparation. It is not allowed to take
walkmans, mobile phones etc. to the track and field. |
| Changing rooms, showers | Changing rooms (together
sex) with showers are located near the cafeteria. Do not leave any
valuables in the locker rooms! |
| Competitive
area | Only the competing athletes from each team are allowed
inside the competition area. Competitive area includes inner side of
the track and the B-sites in long jump, pole vault (M U18) which are
located outside the track or in Hipposhall (paul vault). |
| Competition place | Harju Stadium, Ihantolantie 1, in
a walking distance from the Hotel Alexandra. |
| Competitive outfit | All teams should wear the outfit
of their national teams. |
| Doping
control | Upon request by a team official directly to the
organizing commity, for example in a the case of a new national
record. All payments and practicalities must be cleared directly on
the federation level. |
| Emergency | Doctor and
first aid are available in the competitive area. |
| Implements | All competitors are allowed to use their
own implements. Such implements should be handed in to Technical
Manager in front of the cafeteria on the competition day morning at
9:00 am. |
| Information | Any new information
will be communicated directly to the team official or is shown on
the information board near the entrance of the stadium. There will
be info in the entrance. There you will be adviced by Miika Takala
(tel.+358 407062047) . |
| Rest room | There is
a designated area for competitors for treatment and resting
purposes. This area is located under the stands. |
| Meals | Dinner will be served at 8:00 pm on Friday
(the team leaders can go to eat 7:30 pm before the technical
meeting) and starting from at 5:00 pm on Saturday in the nearby
Harju-school. Breakfast is served in the hotel. The Sunday’s dinner
will be served at 9:30 pm in City Hall near hotel Alexandra. Meal
tickets for the whole team will be given to the team leader during
check-in. Lunch packets will be given to the team leader from the
cafeteria between 12:00 and 2:00 pm both days. The team leader can
then distribute them to the team. |
| Numbers | Will be distributed during the technical
meeting. Numbers should be worn on the front, except in the pole
vault when it can be worn on the back. |
| Opening
Ceremony | There will be a short opening ceremony and we
kindly ask each team to bring their national flag for use at the
stadium. |
| Protests | Will be discussed during
the techical meeting and are according to the IAAF
handbook. |
| Results | Results will be updated
on the www.jku.fi -web site and posted at the stadium as quickly as
possible during the competition each day. |
| Spikes | According to international rules, maximum
length 9 mm, exept in the javelin and the high jump where 12 mm are
allowed. |
| Start lists, Program | The
comfirmation is to be made in the technical meeting. |
| Technical Meeting | On Friday June 6th at 8:00 pm in
the Harju stadium. |
| Transportation | The bus
from the Alexandra to Helsinki-Vantaa airport leaves xxxx am on
Monday morning. The bus to Tikkakoski-airport leaves xxxx am in
front of the hotel Alexandra. |
| Warm up
area | Warm up is allowed inside the stadium. Warm ups can
also take place outside the track, in the warm-up track and sawdust
track or in case of throwing events (shot and discus) warm-up can
take place in Viitaniemi’s throwing area. |

| Of hurdles | Men U18 hurdles
height is 91,4 cm (distance between hurdles 8.90 m) and men U20
height is 100,0 cm. See Nordic handbook version 2007. |
| Payments | We charge you for accommodation, food and
